Maine Farm Days 2019

Wednesday and Thursday
August 21 & 22,  2019  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

This year’s event was a great success. Once planning starts for the 2020 and we have information, it will be posted here…..
At Misty Meadows Farm; 308 Hill Rd. in Clinton, ME

As new materials for 2020 are available, they will be posted here. The 2019s brochure and schedule are available below so you can see what was available in 2019. If you plan to be an exhibitor or vendor in 2020, you will need to complete the contract document and return it to Maine Farm Days. That will not be available until spring of 2020.

For 2019 we had.

–Robotic Milking presentation
–Pie contests, milking contests, other competitions.
–One of the workshops will be on invasive pests.
–And of course a whole series of other workshops are scheduled throughout the two days and are available to anyone wishing to attend.

There will be  “Pesticide Credit” available through the UMaine Cooperative Extension Service if you need those. The workshops will cover issues of

  • Pest and Weed Identification,
  • Plant Diseases,
  • Forage Quality,
  • Integrated Pest Management,
  • Pesticide Storage

Admission is free and open to the public.

The event includes activities for both farmers and non-farmers alike.  Including a range of agribusiness exhibits’, equipment dealers, wagon tours [ wagon tours are designed  shorter and more “kid friendly”], children’s learning center, craft tent, farmers market and educational speakers and presentations. It is an extravaganza of animals, farm information, interesting people, equipment, food and entertaining displays.
