Envirothon - Fall Field Days
This fall, Maine Envirothon will be offering three Fall Field Day events to introduce schools and teams to the program and provide opportunities for schools planning to compete. These are in-person, outdoor events held at three locations across Maine.
Please remind students to dress appropriately for outdoor activities and follow any safety guidelines provided at the site.
Dates and locations are as follows:
Friday, September 5, 2025 – Northern Fall Field Day at Monticello Fish and Game Club, Monticello
Thursday, September 25, 2025 – Southern Fall Field Day at Sebago Lake State Park, Casco
Thursday, October 16, 2025 - Central Fall Field Day at UMaine Demeritt Forest in Old Town
IMPORTANT: Information for Central Fall Field Day in Old Town
We recently sent an email to update and confirm the location for our Central Fall Field Days event. The parking situation is still evolving, and we’ve identified a potentially better option. There may be construction in the area, and if so, vehicles will be directed to park off College Ave Extension, on a road called Lucy Thompson Rd. This road may not appear on maps, but it’s located about a quarter mile down College Ave from Stillwater, near the Thomas J. Corcoran Sugar House. I will send a map to all registered schools closer to the event.
Please note: Lucy Thompson Rd is narrow, so vehicles will need to leave in the order they arrived. If you anticipate needing to leave early, we’ll do our best to find alternative parking for you.
Thanks for your patience as we continue working on the best solution! I’ll send another update in October. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
The registration form can be completed online here, or you can download the form and email it to staylor@kcswcd.org. The word form can be downloaded here.

There is a $5 cost per student to attend Fall Field Days, payable in advance by check at the address below, or on the day of the event.
These events are open to all interested schools and groups. You do not need to already be involved with Envirothon or plan to compete to participate. With the first event less than two weeks away, we encourage you to register without delay!
