Envirothon Registration

It's time to register for the 2025 Maine Envirothon!

The Maine Envirothon program offers high school students a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on environmental education through competitive events. For comprehensive information about the competitions, please visit Maine’s Envirothon website here.

Regional competitions will be held at the following locations:

  • Monday, April 28th - Southwest Region At YMCA's Outdoor Learning Education Center (OLEC) in Auburn Hosted by Andy Valley SWCD

  • Tuesday, April 29th - MidCoast Region At Viles Arboretum in Augusta Hosted by Kennebec SWCD

  • Tuesday, May 20th - Northern Region At UMaine Presque Isle Hosted by Central Aroostook SWCD

  • Wednesday, May 21st - DownEast Region At Leonard's Mills in Bradley Hosted by Penobscot SWCD

Teams can register online here. Note: Schools registering more than one team must add their teams to the shopping cart one at a time.

The State Competition is planned for Thursday, May 29th at the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine in Augusta. The International Competition will be at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from July 20-26, 2025.

Teams should begin preparing for this year's Current Issue topic: "Roots and Resiliency: Fostering Forest Stewardship in a Canopy of Change."
